Partnership to host networking event

The Orange County Partnership’s annual Networking Event on Dec. 2 will feature as its speaker national security analyst K.T. McFarland.
The program begins at 5 p.m. at Anthony’s Pier 9, Route 9W south in New Windsor.

McFarland, an analyst for Fox News, was an aide to former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, a principal deputy assistant secretary of defense and a Pentagon spokeswoman.

The following awards will be presented during the program:

The Spirit of Innovation Award – USAI Lighting for research and development of innovative lighting products.

The Quality of Life Award – John D’Ambrosio, former Orange County Chamber of Commerce president, and William Richards, retiring president of SUNY Orange, for efforts to educate the county’s present and future business leaders.

The Golden Shovel Award – Pratt & Whitney/Advanced Coating Technologies will receive the award from The Alliance for Balanced Growth, a standing committee of the partnership, for investing $140 million to upgrade a Town of Wallkill building for its aerospace business.
